1. What is Affiliate Marketing?

Affiliate Marketing is a method used to promote an advertiser's online business in which an affiliate (an individual or company unrelated to the advertiser) is rewarded for every visitor, subscriber, customer, lead, or sale generated for the advertiser through that affiliate's efforts.

2. What is a CPA network?

A CPA Network connects advertisers with affiliates who will promote their offers on a cost-per-action (CPA) basis. Rather than paying up front for advertising space, the advertiser only pays for a pre-determined action (customer lead created, sale completed, etc.). The affiliate is then paid for every one of those pre-determined actions they can generate for the advertiser's offer. CPA marketing is often referred to as "performance-based" or "lead-generation" marketing.

3. I work with a number of affiliate networks. So, why should I work with affiliate.com?

There are literally hundreds of networks for an affiliate to choose from. The challenge is finding the right ones to work with. We recommend doing your homework and then joining and evaluating networks that seem like a good fit for you. 4. What is the approval process for working with affiliate.com?

First, click here to complete and submit your affiliate application. Our pending affiliate analyst will review your application within 2 business days and contact you via phone to verify your information. Once we have successfully been able to verify your information, you will be approved and assigned an affiliate manager who can help get you started.

5. How does affiliate.com track leads or sales generated by each affiliate?

We use a third party tracking system called Direct Track. By placing pixels on the advertiser's confirmation page, our system is able to track impressions, clicks, and leads or sales. You are able to track all of this activity within the statistics area after you log in to the system.

6. What kind of affiliate support does affiliate.com offer?

7. How are affiliates paid?

affiliate.com pays on a net 20 basis as long as the affiliate has made at least $100 in commissions for that month. We also provide a variety of payment types (Check, Wire, PayPal, etc.) Weekly wires are also available for our top performing clients. 8. Why do I need to fill out a W9 or W8 form?

If you are an affiliate located in the United States, you will need to fill out a W9 form before we can release payment to you. 9. How do I submit my W9 or W8 information so I can get paid?

After you log in to your affiliate.com account, click on Account and then Tax Forms. If you are an affiliate located in the United States, you will need to fill out a W9 form before we can release payment to you. If you are an affiliate outside of the United States, you will need to fill out the W8 form. Please email the completed form to w9@mediabreakaway.com.

10. How can I qualify for weekly payments?

Affiliates who generate at least $5,000 per week in commissions are eligible for weekly payments after a trial period based on traffic quality. Contact your affiliate manager to discuss weekly payment qualifications in more detail.

11. How many offers are available on the affiliate.com network?

affiliate.com has a large number of different advertisers and is adding more all the time. Currently, we provide you with almost 2,000 live campaigns in a wide variety of categories. Log in to your affiliate.com account to view our complete list of available campaigns.

12. How can I promote affiliate.com offers?

Each offer is set-up based on the advertiser's requirements. You will need to verify with each individual offer, any restrictions such as traffic types or countries allowed, by clicking on the campaign description. If you have any questions about a specific offer, please contact your affiliate manager.

13. Can I join affiliate.com if I reside outside the United States?

Yes! We have a number of affiliates located outside of the U.S and we also provide a wide variety of international offers for affiliates to run. The international market is one of our fastest growing verticals and you can expect to find an increasing number of international offers in our system in the coming months, making it even more attractive for international affiliates to join affiliate.com.
