The Opportunity

As Affiliate.com continues to grow, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Business Development Manager to join our team. This individual will play a pivotal role in driving growth and establishing strategic partnerships with publishers throughout the affiliate commerce ecosystem. The ideal candidate is a self-starter with a strong background in the affiliate and influencer industries, along with experience with SaaS sales and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and close new publisher business development opportunities for our industry leading SaaS platform to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Build and nurture relationships with all internal stakeholders, including product, tech, sales, account management and finance teams, as well as develop a deep understanding of our platform and offerings.
  • Drive the complete sales cycle by understanding customer needs and presenting tailored solutions.
  • Manage a large pipeline of future clients.
  • Cultivate and maintain close relationships with clients.
  • Provide feedback to product teams to enhance offerings based on client and market insights.
  • Present regular updates to senior leadership on progress and results.

Here is the type of person you are:

  • Deep knowledge of, and passion for, the affiliate marketing ecosystem.
  • Existing relationships and familiarity with publishers throughout the affiliate and influencer industries.
  • Experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar platforms.
  • An independent self-starter who loves taking initiative and seeing things through from conception to completion with a large amount of autonomy.
  • An excellent communicator, fluent in both verbal and written English, with the ability to explain, defend, and convince a wide cross-section of stakeholders about your ideas.
  • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced startup environment.
  • You are comfortable leading projects with internal and external teams, rolling up your sleeves, and digging into the details yourself.

  • Bonus if you have experience in business development, sales or strategic partnerships at a SaaS company in the broader digital marketing industry as well as a proven ability to understand and communicate high level technical aspects of our suite of API and Web based products.

This is a remote position reporting to our Head of Sales. Base + Commission. US/Canada candidates only.
