The Opportunity

As Affiliate.com continues to grow, we are looking for a Laravel Developer to help architect and build Affiliate.com’s new platform offerings which will support large and small content publishers, including websites, influencers, mobile apps, and more.

You will be part of a small but mighty team that is responsible for architecting and building platform features and APIs that our customers will interface with on a day-to-day basis. You will be writing code for our frontend UX including all of its connections to our backend via a robust API. You will build new features, develop new code, improve existing code, squash bugs, refactor, and help us improve the overall customer experience of our products.

This is a remote position, yet this person must be able to overlap with our US-based team for at least four hours per day.

Requirements

As a Laravel Developer, you'll be collaborating on the full-stack, including but not limited to:

  • Platform - TALL Stack (Tailwind, AlpineJS, Livewire & Laravel)
  • Storage - SQL (AWS RDS), DynamoDB
  • Serverless functions - AWS Lambda
  • Proficient using Git & GitHub and have experience with TDD
  • Collaborate with backend engineers in connection with our robust API
  • Collaborate with designers and product owners to design, build, and configure new product and feature requirements to meet business needs
  • Optimize performance for speed and scalability
  • Support in-code reviews, testing, and debugging of applications
  • Innovate on our proprietary technologies, processes, and solutions
  • Build API endpoints using Laravel
  • Interact with API endpoints from external applications

Skills and Experience

  • You have 5+ years of experience in a similar role with proven technical skills
  • You have OOP PHP experience with Laravel
  • You have 3+ years of Tailwind CSS experience
  • You have 3+ years of Laravel Livewire experience
  • You have experience writing consumable APIs using the Laravel framework
  • You have modern JavaScript experience (Alpine.js and Vue.js preferred)
  • Linux and AWS experience (preferred)
  • Experience/Knowledge of OpenSearch / Elasticsearch is a bonus
  • You have experience building intuitive user interfaces
  • Bonus if you have experience in E-commerce and/or building Marketing Tech
  • Able to make and defend technical decisions for the greater good of the entire suite of offerings
  • Ability to thrive in a very fast-paced, early-stage startup environment
